The Riverview/Animas City area is my number 2 pick. It’s mostly located between North Main Avenue and Florida road north to the city limits. There is a mix of homes built in the early 1900’s to very new construction. There are a number of architectural styles to choose from. Riverview Elementary School, the Animas River Park, recreation center, and raft/tube launch area are located in the neighborhood. The middle and high schools are nearby. Homes in this area sold in the $425,000 to $2.175M range during 2021/22, with an average price of $851,500. This community is perfect for buyers who like a central location and a diversity of home styles.
