If you like living in the tall pines in a traditional neighborhood, Durango West 2 should be on your short list. The community is about 10 minutes west from town on Highway 160. Homes in the west section were built from 1975 to 1990 and the newer homes in the east section were built from 1990 to 2000. The average size lot is a third of an acre and the homes sold in the $375,000 to $885,000 range during 2021/22, with an average sales price of $558,000. Some homes back to open space and others have tree-top views of the La Plata Mountains.
