Tamarron Condominiums is my sixth rated community in the Condominiums over $450,000 category with a rating of 6/10. Located about half way between Durango and the Purgatory ski area, the Tamarron condominiums are a good choice if you do not want to be too far from town but like living in the tall pines with views of the cliffs and Glacier Club golf course. Larger Tamarron condos (over 900 square feet) sold in the $300,000 to $800,000 range during 2021/22, with an average price of $561,500. There are many smaller units available for well below $450,000 in the Tamarron community. Owners have access to a fitness room, swimming pool, and extensive walking trails. As with most condominium communities at or near the ski area, vacation rentals are allowed and they have a rental office located in the main lodge building.
Five reasons you’ll want to have a home at Tamarron:
- Beautiful surroundings – tall pines and rock formations
- Extensive walking trails
- Near expensive homes at modest prices
- Good amenities
- Exteriors recently renovated and updated
