The West of North Main street area is comprised of homes primarily built from 1950 to 1980. My number 4 pick is sometimes referred to as “Tupperware Heights”. Most of the homes are tract homes, with infill of newer and custom built homes. Some homes at or on the hillside have great Durango city views. Needham Elementary and Miller Middle schools are located in the neighborhood. Homes in this area sold in the $418,500 to $1.4M range during 2021/22, with an average price of $746,500. If you like getting a lot for your money and living in a convenient location, this may be a place you would like to call home.
