There are a number of subdivisions outside the Durango city limits; about half of the homes are not located in subdivisions. However, most are located in and around the various subdivisions. I evaluated a total of 20 subdivisions and picked the 5 best. I based my evaluation on criteria that typical Durango country homebuyers consider when choosing a place to live.
