Most of the condominiums in La Plata County are within the Durango City limits and north of town; a number are near Purgatory Ski Area.
Condominium ownership involves the ownership of an undivided interest with the other community owners of the land, common areas, shared facilities, and structures. The individual owners have the right to occupy the interior space of their unit and a patio/deck area.
A townhome style condo does not have other units above or below and typically have a garage on the lower level. These style homes are connected with the side walls to adjoining homes.
